We reached Newport Beach around 4 pm. It is always fun walking on the beach. Ocean waters drain the charge in the body. It feels rejuvenating and relaxing. It was no different this time, too. We walked for about three miles. As the sun went down, the colors on the horizon changed from deep blue to bright yellow, and after that, deep, vibrant orange or red. The reflection on the water created fascinating colors.
At Around 4 PM
The Sun approached Catalina Island, and the bright yellow and orange colors highlighted the contour of the island mountains on the horizon. The orange colors reminded me that the Sun is one enormous fireball that brings energy to the Earth and is a power behind all we have on Mother Earth. The fire within that helps me metabolize food and empowers my drive to make things happen is also drawing on the sun’s energy. At that moment, it felt as if I was connected to the universe and was one with all.
The sunset moved the Sun beyond my horizons. The rays from it refract and colored the sky and clouds bright orange and deep red.
I had moments when I felt one with the divinity of the universe. The energies from inside emerged and healed me. I felt grounded and nourished by Mother Earth. The experience balanced my five elements – earth, water, fire, air, and ether.
