Losing myself watching the ocean waters has a calming effect on me. The stunning perspectives of the Pacific Ocean between Morro Bay and Big Sur add one more dimension to it – seeing the waves from a higher elevation. I am sharing pictures and videos we took along the scenic Highway 1 from San Luis Obispo to Monterey, California.

Lone Cypress
In Carmel, there is the Scenic 17 Miles Drive. It is fun stopping by at different viewpoints, and there are several hiking trails and Pebble Beach Golf Course. The iconic symbol for the Drive and Golf Resort is the Lone Cypress – the tree surrounded by stones with a stunningly beautiful ocean backdrop.
Stunning Perspectives
The majesty of mountains on one side and the ocean on the other create breathtaking views. It was fun driving along Highway 1 and enjoying the stunning perspectives. 🙂
