It was an overcast day with a thick cloud cover as we drove to Laguna Beach. We lucked out as clouds dispersed on the horizon and sun rays burst through with the fiery yellow colors. It reminded me that the sun is an incredible fire bowl, giving light energy and sustenance to Mother Earth.
I felt connected to the nature and the universe. My body derives the fire element from the same source. It empowers me to metabolize food and fuels the drive to make things happen.
There is a gazebo with a lookout on the side of the beach as it curves toward the land. The mountains, houses in the hills, sand, and ocean water showed a stunning golden color tinge to them all.
The colors in the clouds reflected in the ocean waters, creating breathtaking views.
As the sun went down the horizon, the colors took on a stronger contrast.
We walked up to a lookout point for the sunset. Seeing the side of the beach from a slightly higher elevation was stunning.
After the sunset, the rays refracting over the horizon changed hues on the horizon to more orange, red, and purple.
As we walked along the beach, a dark cloud covered an area in the sky. Its color effects reminded us yet again of the fiery sun and its impact on us.
The colors changed to deeper purple as the evening wore on.
It’s nighttime and dark all around. Still, there were traces of the fiery sun’s colors on the horizon. The golden colors in the mostly dark background inspired me to trust the power within me as I am part of the connected whole – the universe.
