We heard and read about the beauty of the Emerald Bay at Lake Tahoe. The first glimpse while driving up on the west side of the lake captured our attention right away. We stopped by on the roadside as soon as we got a chance. I sneaked into a spot between trees and stones. The stunning majesty and beauty of the place took me in completely.
We circled the bay and stopped at the vista point. It was yet another breathtaking experience to lose myself in the incredible serenity and beauty of the bay.
A boat created a pattern of waves, probably from its propeller blades cutting through the water. The ripples spread with symmetry, and it felt like the boat and people on board struck harmony with nature.
I saw trees rising through the cracks in rugged stones. It reminded me that nature inherently helps grow, cultivate, survive, and thrive.
On the other side of the road, on the west side, was another small lake. The sun’s angle made its surface glisten and reflect using thousands of “mirrors” on the surface. 🙂
As we started walking towards Ecowater Falls the mountains surrounding the lake looked so imposing and yet beautiful from the distance.
