We went to Summerland Beach to see the Penguin Parade. As we sat down in the viewing area, we were brimming with excitement.
The little penguins were expected to come out right after sunset. We had to wait about half an hour, and I am so happy we did. Little did we know or even think about it, we had the opportunity to see the sunset over the Southern Ocean with stunning colors. A rainbow appeared on the horizon as if going straight up from the mountain on the side. It felt like a colorful fire of energy rising from the hill and shooting up in the sky.
A bird flew in and sat on the rail right before us, juxtaposed against the backdrop of vibrant sky colors and a breathtaking rainbow!
I lost myself in the incredibly scenic backdrop. A thought popped in from inside: the fire and energy I have inside to make things happen are part of the collective energy of nature. I am part of the whole, connected to it all.
The moments felt so nurturing. The sound of the waves added music.
Mother Earth is giving me healing energies and keeping me grounded and secure. The sky and heavens are imbuing me with wisdom and radiance. I felt liberated from the cacoon of my ego and thinking patterns. I am part of the universal consciousness.
