Central Park is always fun. You can lose yourself in the woods in the heart of New York City. We lucked out this time to see it on a snowy afternoon.
The brightness of the white color on the grounds drew me closer to the Earth. The tree branches with sparkling white snow and ice accentuated the landscape in all directions. The gentle breeze blew snowflakes into my face and melted them. I could hear music from the ice skating area on one side. When I looked up in the distance, the tall buildings in the backdrop dissolved in the thick fog and clouds. My mind paused. The moments soaked through all my senses.
The magic in the ambiance felt as if Mother Nature, with cloud cover, fog, and snow, embraced it all in a warm and loving hug.

The bare trees with snow and ice on their branches looked like sculptures.

The plants and shrubs, with their green leaves radiating through a thin layer of snow, the trees, the soil, falling snowflakes, the ice covering the grounds, and clouds up in the sky, appeared to go with the universe’s flow. Life lives through them with its resilience, abundance, and creative expression to survive and thrive. Their beauty and harmony enriched me.
My gratitude for the moments to pause and let it all soak in.
