I have captured my space meditation at Newport Beach and Robber’s Roost – the rock on hills close to home in Santiago Oaks.
Merging with the Space and Sky at Newport Beach
It was an overcast afternoon with scattered rain showers. The water changed colors and “personality” as the clouds dragged in and out.
I stood still in one spot with waves swarming around my feet. I closed my eyes and felt like I had merged with the sky and open space. The sound of the wind, waves, and people nearby passed through me. Thoughts, feelings, and emotions emerged and dissolved like a bubble or a cloud. I observed them with peace. The gusty wind felt as if it was blowing through me. I was a witness. I let it all be. I accepted it and allowed it to pass through without resisting or fighting with it. I merged with the spacious awareness, universal consciousness, and the nature surrounding me.
The water inside my body became one with the ocean, helping me ground and heal. The charges and energy blockages in me dissolved in the limitless swath of the sea like a droplet of pigment in a lake, disappearing without any visible mark.
The magic, the sacredness, and the stillness of the moments infused me with warmth, nurture, abundance, fullness, peace, and bliss.
I am vast, open awareness like the sky. I am the Atma – spacious awareness and universal consciousness.
Spacious Awareness at Robber’s Roost
I was standing on the Robber’s Roost rock: it is at the tallest point among the surrounding hills. There was a gentle breeze, birds chirping in the distance, and sounds from the car passing by on the road on one side of the mountain. My mind opened like the sky above, and sounds passed through me. The healing energy from the earth rose through me, grounding and healing me. I merged with the spacious awareness, universal consciousness, and the nature surrounding me. I infused love, healing vibes, and relaxing ripples to the child inside me and every cell in my body with every breath going in. I exhumed body aches, pains, and memories in the open space with each exhale.
I am vast, open awareness like the sky. I am the Atma—spacious awareness and universal consciousness.
