Flow and Harmony: Laguna Beach

We saw the waves crashing against the shoreline. We stopped at a vantage point that was probably 100 feet above on the hill. The waves formed a breathtaking white necklace that accentuated the view of the sea, the land, and the sky.

With the contour of the hill, landscaped shrubs, and palm trees, a gentle breeze, the sound of the waves, and the white color framing the edge of the Pacific Ocean, I completely lost myself in the moment. Mother Nature blessed me with awareness of the life flowing through me, nurturing my mind & body with peace, healing, and abundance.

There is a nook where waves approach in a circular arch. There is probably a large rock underwater, a little bit away from the land, where waves start the circles. I saw ripples emerge, spread, and overwhelm the beach with incredible white. The palm trees and plants add to the visual dynamic. I gazed from a height, and felt a perfect harmony where everything came together – the sea, the land, the boulders close to the beach, and the waves accentuating them all with their white color and the music of them crashing and playing around.

We went down the steps to get closer to the sea. The waves crashed against the last few steps and the nearby boulders. The sound and milky white foam of the waves connected me to the child I am deep down inside. I soaked it through all my senses and let it flow through me.

It’s always fun going to the sand and dipping my feet in the water. Today, the water glowed with the reflection of sunlight reaching through and around the scattered clouds. The countless mirrors were dancing on the surface of the giant cauldron of the Pacific Ocean. As the waves crashed on the beach, shiny silver turned into bright white. I felt one with the earth, the water, the fire of the sun, the air, and the sky.

There is an area where rock forms a platform about 3-4 feet tall. Strong waves splashed against it, swamping the water over it. The cold refreshing water covered my feet: it felt so refreshing and energizing. The waves left behind a thin film of water on the rock, which reflected the sun’s rays, creating a vibrant glow. It felt as if Mother Nature brought its abundance to me in a shiny platter.
