Surrender: Moments at Ocean and Mountains

The oceans and mountains remind me that Mother Nature is majestic. Three experiences recently inspired me to surrender to it, resting my logical mind, ego, and intellect.

The first was at the Top of the World in Laguna Beach. From the height, we saw the Pacific Ocean. Through all my senses, I soaked in the experience of the hills, mountains, and sea.

We drove to Salt Creek Beach. The ambiance was incredibly blissful – the temperature was not too hot or cold, there was a gentle breeze, the sky was stunning blue, and the Pacific Ocean looked rejuvenating and yet calm from a distance.

My third experience was at the Santiago Oaks Mountains, which is close to home. I hiked up to the Robber’s Roost. The mountains on one side were covered in the fog. The houses and trails perfectly harmonized with the surroundings as I looked on the side. When I turned around on the other side, the direct sunlight on the brown mountain appeared so vibrant.
